A story of love, loss, and redemption - Downeast dives into the often ignored seedy underbelly of Maine and follows Emma Maddox as she returns to her hometown years following the mysterious death of her brother, Mikey. As she reconnects with his best friend Tommy, the two rekindle their flame and Emma begins to uncover the web of lies the town has been keeping. Will Emma get the closure she so desperately seeks, or fall victim to the town’s turbulent ways? The film combines crime, revenge and most importantly, the hope for a new life.
Aaron composed and recorded the score for the documentary Alice Is Still Dead.
In an intimate and unflinching examination of dealing with grief, “Alice Is Still Dead” tells the story of a murdered loved one through the perspective of the victim’s family. From getting the news to facing the killer in court, the viewer gets an in-depth look at the pain and heartbreak a family must endure while fighting through a nightmare. The filmmaker, and brother of the late Alice Stevens, ultimately asks, is it even possible to move forward after such a traumatic event?

ABOUT
Aaron Bagley is a Southern California-based music producer and film composer with a passion for telling stories through music.
Recent work includes composing and recording the score for the feature film DOWNEAST, staring Greg Finley, Dylan Silver, Judson Mills, Gareth Williams and Kirk Fox; and composing and recording the score for the documentary Alice Is Still Dead. The film was awarded Best Autobiographical Documentary at the 2019 Doc LA Film Festival.
Aaron starting singing, playing piano, and studying music from a young age and developed a love for harmonies and vocal arranging. Much of his early career was spent writing and recording original music and playing in bands throughout the Northeast. Aaron eventually moved to California to focus on producing emerging artists and ultimately discovered a love for film scoring.
